Change Management Specialist

The Change Management Specialist works closely with and supports Federal agency clients in the planning and implementation major organizational transformation initiatives. The Change Management Specialist will assist in the development and conducting of stakeholder analyses, impact analyses, and communications planning.  The Change Management Specialist will also provide input on the associated risks resulting from the change activities. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Change Management Specialist responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Work with clients to define change management strategies and develop change management plans.
  • Conduct stakeholder assessments and analysis.
  • Work with clients to review and develop guidance and policies that will facilitate understanding, adoption and implementation of new processes.
  • Reviews, understands and effectively communicates the requirements of new policies and legislation and helps to implement strategic planning initiatives to achieve all requirements.
  • Provides analytical and technical support for change management initiatives.
  • Develops reports, plans, outreach materials, web content, correspondence, fact sheets, etc.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent written and oral communications.
  • Strong proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 
‚ÄčPreferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
  • Familiarity with project management and process improvement methodologies and tools.
  • Change Management Advanced Practitioner or similar credentials.
